Hi, I’m Eliot! I’ve been designing and producing tabletop games since 2011, with my first game, bLockdown, which became Urosette, and was published as ILIOS in 2016. Along the way, I’ve worked on other games as well: Machi Koro Deluxe (graphic design – IDW); Postcard Dungeons (art and graphic design – Postcard Games); Dwellings of Eldervale (testing, promotional graphics, graphic design development – Breaking Games); and Growl (graphic design, photo retouching, box art layout – Vigour Games). In addition, I’ve worked behind the scenes on several unpublished games, and play tested countless others.

I also explore the possibilities of gaming. Can a game be a drama? What does each game teach you? How meta can games be?

Finally, as we learn more about the lives of people who are different than us, Hochspiel Games strives to be inclusive with thoughtful text and rules; increasing the number of accessibility features; and overall trying to make people feel welcome.

Gaming is about getting people together for fun and interesting shared experiences. All people, all abilities, all the time.
