Remembering where we came from…

Hochspiel Games grew out of a partnership collective with Joseph Limbaugh, Ross Hellwig, and Ash Minnick, called Modest Games. Hochspiel Games came out of this history, as did Postcard Games. Modest Games was where we cut our teeth presenting games mostly at Strategicon in Los Angeles. The dealer room management gave us our first table for free as they were supporting independent game design. Games that grew from this experience were ILIOS, Postcard Empire, Postcard Cthulhu, Urosette, and the Standard Card Deck which became the Hochspiel Deck.
